1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Paybiz ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Paybiz provides a platform for users to:
- Purchase and sell virtual top-up (VTU) services including airtime, data, electricity, and TV subscriptions
- Operate a merchant storefront to sell these services to customers
- Participate in a referral program to earn commissions
3. Account Registration
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
4. Merchant Accounts
Merchant accounts are subject to the following terms:
- Merchant upgrades require a one-time payment as displayed on the platform
- Merchant accounts are non-transferable
- Merchants are responsible for setting their own prices within platform guidelines
- Merchants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations
5. Payments and Transactions
All payments on the platform are processed in Nigerian Naira (NGN). Transaction fees, if any, will be clearly displayed before confirmation. All successful transactions are final and non-reversible unless otherwise stated.
6. Referral Program
The referral program is subject to the following terms:
- Referral commissions are only earned by active merchants
- Commission rates may be modified at our discretion with prior notice
- Fraudulent referral activity will result in account termination
- Commissions are credited to your referral wallet upon successful referral upgrades
7. Prohibited Activities
Users are prohibited from:
- Using the platform for any illegal activities
- Attempting to manipulate or defraud the system
- Creating multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes
- Reselling services in violation of provider terms
- Harassing other users or our support team
8. Limitation of Liability
Paybiz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Service Availability
While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our services. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect service availability.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you may withdraw any remaining balance in accordance with our withdrawal policies.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.
